Our client is an NYC-based digital agency looking for an Associate Director of Search with significant experience developing, implementing, and optimizing cross-channel digital advertising accounts. They are a unique organization experiencing high growth, and they offer the right candidate a fast track for professional growth in online marketing. We are looking for someone who is eager, loves to learn and wants the opportunity to grow with an amazing company. This manager-level position will be responsible for all digital advertising activities for a few medium to large clients, including directing and implementing strategy & tactics, managing staff, and exceeding goals.

General Responsibilities

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing account plans and schedules, and oversee their implementation
  • Managing account-related communication with clients
  • Consulting on clients’ marketing plans and on-site experience
  • Managing ads in DSPs, Google Ads, Bing Ads, YouTube, Amazon, Pinterest, Facebook, and any other platform that fits clients’ needs
  • Ensuring testing schedules are up-to-date on all accounts, learnings are being applied throughout each account, and that tests focus on the areas with the highest potential returns.
  • Manage 2-3 direct reports and a number of indirect reports.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on digital advertising experience is required. 2+ years of paid search experience is preferred. Please note: people without hands-on experience should not apply for this position.
  • Experience with 3rd party SEM management software and Analytics Tools (Marin/Kenshoo/Acquisio/etc, Google Analytics, Omniture) preferred.
  • An inquisitive nature. You should be excited to check the data on all accounts and curious to find out the causes and effects of tests/changes/etc.
  • Ability to find the story within the data. Not just the “what,” but the “why.”
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
