Digital Sales Director

Our client is a multi-platform international media company who works with news media. They are looking for a Digital Sales Director to work with ad agencies and brand marketers to identify potential partnerships, establish first-to-market programs and close business deals. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for pushing the limits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a business strategy to generate revenue and grow new business

  • All aspects of the sales cycle — Prospecting, Research, Outreach, Creative Ideation, Pitching, Negotiating, Closing, Account Management and Renewals

  • Work with internal groups such as planning, creative, editorial and operations 

  • Networking to build new client relationships 


Experience & Skills:

  • 7+ years digital sales experience

  • Key agency and brand direct relationships at all levels

  • Track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue targets, including experience with closing seven-figure deals and overseeing client programs with branded content

  • Ability to leverage a mult-iplatform approach (Digital, TV, Events) to deliver deeply integrated, memorable experiences for brands with significant monetary commitments

  • Exceptional writing style, organizational skills and presentation ability

  • Excitement and hunger to thrive in a startup environment
