Our client is a leading digital marketing agency that is looking for a Manhattan-based Director of Business Development. This group prides themselves on having the most powerful and innovative minds in the industry, while operating in an enthusiastic and rewarding corporate culture.

The Director of Business Development role requires a strategic sales professional who has experience selling digital marketing services to Fortune 1000 clients. You must possess strong consultative sales skills and experience presenting to “C” level executives. If you are highly motivated, an independent thinker and ready to go make things happen, then this is the opportunity for you.

The ideal candidate for this role must have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of sales experience
  • Experience closing enterprise-level deals. Think Nike or The North Face
  • A solid record of exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Experience with the business development process from lead to deal closure, and a keen eye for new business opportunities
  • Experience selling digital marketing services to “C” level individuals
  • Ability to lead presentations and articulate a strategic and tactical solution to client’s key business and marketing issues
  • Manage internal resources during the sales process
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategy
  • Experience negotiating contract pricing
