Director of Digital Ad Operations

Job Overview:

  • Properly setting up all components of a campaign, maintaining a thorough QA process, helping to create and maintain best practices
  • Auditing, evaluating, and educating on various points within the digital ad operations process to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Responsible for digital campaign implementation
  • Monitor campaign activity and pacing
  • Place test orders and QA site pages for tracking purposes
  • Implement tags through ad management platforms
  • Troubleshoot client tagging, tracking and reporting issues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus on digital operations and quality assurance (QA) for all campaign launch/modifications
  • Test campaign setups for quality assurance and completing documentation following launches to ensure a closed-loop process
  • Assist in development and maintenance of Ad Serving SOPs
  • Collaborate with leadership, 3rd party Ad Op Groups and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows.
  • Continuous refinement of digital operations process to ensure the delivery of high-quality, error-free deliverables.
  • Establish processes for maintaining high standards of digital operation service quality, reliability, and accuracy
  • Enforce internal systems, processes, and best practices to maximize efficiency/effectiveness of department and agency workflows
  • Review and update operational documentation for best practices and training
  • Monitor all live campaigns for proper serving, click through action, and conversion events
  • Active participation in Client / Agency meetings as the day-to-day Digital Tech Operations team representative


  • Individual must be organized, diligent, and possess a high degree of attention to detail.
  • High amount of initiative in problem solving.
  • Understanding of Paid Search Engines (i.e. AdWords, SA360) and AdServing Platforms (i.e. Conversant, Campaign Manager) as well as site analytic tools like Google Analytics  
  • Exceptional interactive project management experience
  • Ability to work with tight and aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • At least 5 years’ experience
