Director of Display

Our client is a leading full service integrated digital marketing agency dedicated to bringing innovative and consumer centric solutions to their clients. They are looking for an experienced Director of Display who will be responsible for managing all aspect of their client digital display campaigns. This role shares qualities of an Associate Director of Display but with increased “ownership” of the clients media services. The role contains elements of media planning, performance analysis, staff management as well as client services. It is expected that a Director will participate in the development of the department, ensuring the correct processes are in place for efficient execution of all day to day work.


  • Oversight on all aspects of client’s display services
  • Analyze results and make optimization recommendations
  • Use empirical data to improve results for the next buying cycle
  • Have a clear and technical knowledge of vendor’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Work closely with media to negotiate packages to offer the best value to clients
  • Present complex concepts and metrics in a user-friendly way
  • Responsible for overall media objectives and strategies that fulfill client business goals
  • Lead creation of all important plans and presentations
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and results
  • Communicate/Troubleshoot changes to the field and technical teams relating to our tracking methodology
  • Look at our products and associated available metrics and advises how to use them / integrate them with overall platform 


  • Knowledge of social metrics and platforms
  • PMD/FMP management experience
  • Experience using comScore and 3rd party ad serving technology (i.e., DoubleClick)
  • 6-8 years media experience, at least 3 years in interactive planning
  • Programmatic Experience (DMP, DSP, exchange)
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically in Media Plan presentations
  • Diverse account background including some direct response and awareness
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years (combined) experience with online media planning and web/media analytics and reporting
  • 3+ years digital or online advertising industry experience preferred
  • 2+ years of team management experience required (team of 3+)
  • Ability to work with MS Office product suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Access a plus)
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Can work independently as well as part of a team
  • Availability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and analytics skills
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
