Director of Paid Search

Our client is a leading full service integrated digital marketing agency dedicated to bringing innovative and consumer-centric solutions to their clients. They are looking for a Director of Paid Search to be responsible for all aspects of their assigned client’s Paid Search campaigns and department. The candidate should have experience in management as well as in retail and e-commerce. The right candidate will have advanced technical knowledge of SEM technology, and a drive for working in performance driven environments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and orchestrate client performance-based programs, including large-scale SEM programs

• Planning and strategy for all SEM programs

• Working with Display Directors to execute integrated media solutions

• Manage a team that is responsible for analyzing results and providing optimization recommendations for live media

• Responsible for vendor relationships

• Working with bid management strategies and advanced analytics

• Presenting QBR, Monthly and Weekly and ad-hoc documents

• Communicating with the field and technical teams regarding changes relating to tracking methodology

• Looking at products and available metrics and advising how to integrate them with the overall platform

• Acting as a thought leader across paid search advertising and be the go-to person for ongoing digital counsel and search education

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of SEM technology and Google Analytics/ Adobe Analytics

• Experience in both ROAS/ROI and CPA goals in relation to SEM Programs

• Understanding how SEO and SEM interact

• The ability to work across a matrix environment and thrive in an entrepreneurial and results-oriented culture

• 2-3 years' experience managing a team

• Extensive experience using search engine and bid management platforms

• 5+ years of Paid Search Experience, including large budget SEM management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in presentations to senior level clients

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Skills/Requirements:

• Ability to work with MS Office product suite including PowerPoint and Excel, Access is a plus

• Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
