Director of Paid Social

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Director of Paid Social to lead their media and strategy department. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and a background in Paid Social Media Buying and will work closely with cross-discipline client account teams in meeting and exceeding client goals.

The Director of Paid Social will be involved in all aspects of executing complex direct response media campaigns in channels that may include Facebook, Adwords, Snapchat, Pinterest and Linkedin among others. Experience in all facets of media and strategy are needed, including Consumer Insights, Market Research, Media Planning, Measurement Framework, Creative Briefing, Media Management & Optimization and Data Analysis & Reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage paid social campaigns for clients, including engagement, acquisitions, direct response, reach and frequency
  • Analyze performance data and provide interpretation and recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate with clients on the planning, performance, and project status of their campaign
  • Oversee and manage output of media team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in strategy and/or media positions with at least 3 years in Paid Facebook Media Buying with a heavy focus on direct response campaigns
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop processes to streamline the oversight of many client accounts
  • Experience with direct client relationship responsibilities including regular reporting, strategic planning, and performance management
  • Strong Excel and data visualization skills
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
