Influencer Marketing Director

Our client is looking for an Influencer Marketing Director to join their agency of consumer marketers. This agency develops campaigns across all channels, including traditional media, social media, digital events, and sponsorships. The ideal candidate for this position has experience using strategic influencer marketing programs with both large and small budgets to improve their visibility and drive sales. They will have the ability to be a trusted counselor to clients and help meet their business goals with strategies that incorporate the clients' overall marketing plan. The Influencer Marketing Director will be responsible for the overall growth and management of their team and provide performance reviews and daily feedback. 


  • Build and manage a network of bloggers to make it become a valuable asset for the business
  • Develop new ways to leverage influencers to help clients achieve their goals
  • Manage and develop influencer plans, design and manage ambassador programs, conduct brand contests, sweepstakes and create social and digital promotions
  • Work with the analytics team to measure the impact of influencer outreach
  • Clearly and creatively write proposals and presentations for both the internal and external use
  • Drive a holistic client experience across influencer and content marketing
  • Recruit and manage influencer and brand ambassador programs
  • Create quality pitches to communicate the client message and build effective relationships with social influencers via seeding programs and other communication
  • Use search and social data to create pitches for the customer product stories
  • Negotiate earned and paid placements including reviews, interviews, giveaways, news items, and video segments
  • Build and manage vendor relationships to grow engagement, social reach, and conversion
  • Head up the development and implementation of new product offerings with the Head of Practice and Group Directors
  • Write influencer POVs for clients


  • 5-7 years experience at a social marketing or PR agency
  • 2 years minimum experience recruiting and managing online influencer /brand ambassador programs for large, national consumer-facing brands
  • Experience managing a team
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • A love for all things digital, social and mobile
