Paid Media Director

This person should have experience in all digital marketing channels and an understanding of holistic marketing strategy along with strong experience in team management.  


The candidate is responsible for managing and developing a team of account managers for the purposes of ultimately growing current client relationships and revenues across their respective book of business.


This role is ideal for a seasoned digital marketer with a strong management background, and a history of building strong, long-standing client relationships.


  Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Own relationship with primary stakeholders and key influencers across all clients. 
  • Leverage data and digital acumen to re-enforce value and achieve client business objectives.
  • Oversee quality and client service standards by analyzing and resolving challenges and enacting improvements.
  • Prioritize and manage team deliverables on an ongoing basis while ensuring team members have the resources needed to succeed.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with relevant POV's, strategic recommendations, and proposed changes ahead of client needs. 
  • Active role in career progression of team, including performance reviews, development plans and hiring decisions.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across teams and between NYC and Dallas offices.
  • Consistently strive to achieve the best work environment possible, actively protecting the overall morale of the company, office and individual colleagues.


Knowledge and Skills

  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience directly managing large, multi-channel digital programs.  
  • Refined understanding of how marketing, creative, media, technology, financial planning, and analytics integrate and the role each plays in a successful digital marketing strategy.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and technologies such as (but not limited to) Google Analytics, attribution modeling, Doubleclick products, Omniture, and Coremetrics.
  • Superior analytical skills and an understanding of experimental methodologies.
  • Superior understanding of standard industry digital marketing principles and methodologies.
