Programmatic Media Buyer

Our client is a direct response agency who was recently named one of the Fastest Growing Agencies in NYC. They have brought on several new clients and need to expand their programmatic team.

Job Overview:

Our client in New York city is looking for a Media Buyer for Programmatic Marketing. The Media Buyer for Programmatic Marketing will be responsible for the planning, architecting, activating, and optimizing of programmatic media (including RTB display, video, and native) for direct response campaigns. This role requires the technical knowledge and skills to present recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Digital team on creating digital media recommendations, research, campaign implementation and analysis
  • Serve as the tactical programmatic lead
  • Execute and optimize media spend across a variety of platforms and publishers
  • Lead the management and optimization of RTB digital initiatives
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third party services
  • Implement tracking through URL parameters
  • Working with key platform partners, focusing on ad product and audience data strategy

Qualifications/Key Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital media buying and/or planning
  • At least 2 years managing programmatic campaigns at an agency, trading desk or DSP
  • Ad serving and tracking and capabilities
  • Experience analyzing data and program analysis
  • Excellent written, analytical, presentation and verbal skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • A self-starter and ability to see a work assignment through from start to finish
  • Bachelor’s Degree
