SEM Analyst

Job Description:

Our client is a direct response digital marketing agency. They are looking for a Search Engine Marketing Analyst to join their team. The Search Analyst will manage the paid search (Google, Bing, etc.) campaigns for their external clients. This involves working directly with the salesperson, the internal team and client to ensure success of the campaign while increasing client ROI and providing campaign accountability via reporting. The right individual will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and execution of paid search campaigns across Google and Bing, which includes the creation, tracking, analysis, optimization, bidding and budget pacing
  • Work with Account Leads on creating digital media recommendations, research, campaign implementation and reporting
  • Execute tests, analyze data, and identify trends in order to achieve maximum ROI in campaigns
  • Prepare and present client presentations
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search
  • Keyword research
  • Analyze marketplace for competitive activities
  • Design creative and media tests

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of search engine marketing and analytics and bid management tools
  • Excellent written, presentation, analytical and verbal skills
  • Experience with testing designs
  • Excellent organizational, management and interpersonal skills
  • Superior knowledge working with Excel

Qualifications, Experience:

  • 1-2 years of hands on SEM experience
  • Expert in Google
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Google Adwords Certified
