Sr. Data Analyst

Our client is a direct-response digital and traditional media firm that delivers strategic solutions in media planning, analysis, and marketing services.  The Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for supporting client teams by translating data into reporting, insights, and solutions that enhance performance across functions. Simultaneously they will work across technical teams to improve solution development, data management, and data quality. 

Responsibilities

Analysis & Innovation:

  • Develop dashboard solutions enabling analysis and timely decision making
  • Perform data-driven analysis on the effectiveness of spend across multiple dimensions such as Geographic, Channel, Line of Business
  • Identify and interpret behavioral trends across complex data sets
  • Assist in the analysis of marketing campaigns to establish learnings and best practices
  • Establish standardized reporting and modeling methods to link media and client KPIs
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate data focused process improvement
  • Utilize statistical modeling to create optimization scenarios
  • Analyze consumer pathway to purchase and provide strategic recommendations

Data Management & Integrity:

  • Unify multiple data sources into a central repository
  • Analyze inbound and outbound data to ensure error free client reporting
  • Leverage and assist in enhancing agency’s propriety data visualization software
  • Manage internal data that houses media investment and performance metrics
  • Evaluate new data sources, tools, methods that drive incremental learnings & performance

 Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of business KPIs and the use of analytics to support outcomes
  • Creative problem-solving approach backed by statistical analysis
  • 3 years of experience in Statistical Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling or Big Data Analytics
  • Experience with Data Analytics software such as R, Python, SAS, MATLAB
  • Organizational skills with experience balancing multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with attribution models, multi-variant analysis, machine learning, A/B tests and predictive analytics
  • Past work within an analytics-based environment
  • BA/BS degree in statistics, mathematics or equivalent practical experience
