About the Role
The Director, Media Strategy will lead the development of integrated media plans across the full media ecosystem, blending strategic rigor, operational excellence, and client leadership. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, requiring a few days per week in-office, and offers a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000.
What You’ll Do
- Lead media strategy, plan development, and budget allocation across the integrated media ecosystem
- Identify and size target audiences based on client briefs, cultural insight, and business goals
- Facilitate media brief development and translate strategy to investment teams
- Evaluate media vehicles and channel mix to maximize reach, efficiency, and impact
- Present recommendations to account teams and senior clients
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
- Create media measurement frameworks aligned to business outcomes
- Direct and develop media strategists, supervisors, and associate directors
What You Bring
- 8–10+ years of experience in media strategy or planning
- 3+ years of progressive management experience
- Strong experience across linear TV/network, digital, and OOH
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including advanced Excel
- Strong client presence, communication skills, and operational discipline
