Digital Media Strategist

We are recruiting for a digital media agency in NYC who specializes in working with video gaming and entertainment clients such as Capcom, Deep Silver and 505 Games. They are looking for a Digital Media Strategist to join their growing team. This position will be a hybrid role with 3 days spent in the NYC office per week. This role has a focus on campaign planning and strategy across paid media channels as well as programmatic and display. The person in this role should be able to clearly communicate media recommendations and optimizations to team members to meet and exceed client goals.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with media teams on crafting digital media recommendations, research, campaign implementation and reporting / analysis.
  • Assist with all strategic media planning activities associated with assigned account(s).
  • Work with Media team and external partners to gauge media performance and KPI’s to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
  • Gathering data to support media recommendations, utilizing proprietary planning tools and digital research systems, preparing flowcharts, media authorizations and insertion orders.
  • Analyze competitive activity in the marketplace.
  • Traffic: Issue creative assets, forms, ensure tags are tested, implemented, etc.
  • Optimize based on client objectives and agreed upon performance metrics

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong knowledge of Digital Display Media – DSPs/DMPs, Ad Networks, Exchanges, Mobile, Video, Social, etc.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook , Instagram, DV360.
  • Demonstrated history of optimizing campaigns to KPIs such as ROAs and CPA, CPC,CTR, etc 
  • Understanding the principles of direct response marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • Proven record of success in leading full service accounts
  • Strong written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal and management skills

Qualifications, Experience: 

  • 4-5 years’ experience managing campaigns on search/social platforms as well as programmatic/display DSPs
  • 2 years’ direct client facing and relationship management experience
  • Good knowledge of the digital media landscape for direct response campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
