Our client is a full service digital agency that specializes in paid search, creative services, SMS, social media and display media. They offer competitive salary, ongoing training, excellent benefits and more. They are looking for a Display and Social Media Planner to join their team.

This person needs to be knowledgeable in display and paid social media buying across self-serve and managed service buys. In this role, you will be accountable for developing media recommendations for a diverse set of direct response and branding clients. We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills who will shine in cultivating relationships within the agency and with clients.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Maintains client relationships while communicating the value of display and paid social strategy and delivery of reports and analysis
  • Executing strategies that exceed goals of the clients and KPIs
  • Own the entire media planning process for multiple clients: research, RFP, rate negotiation, media plan development and presentation, overseeing set up, launch and optimization of the campaign
  • Managing budgets and approving invoices, keeping track of media and creative fees, issuing contracts, tracking budget changes, and maintaining the overall media plan document
  • Management of the Media Buyer and Coordinator, including QA work, feedback, and quarterly reviews
  • Analysis of biweekly Tableau reports and presenting this to clients

Desired Background and Skills:

  • 3.5+ years of display and paid social marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Knowledge of advertising products on social media and display platforms (types, targeting, tracking)
  • Experience managing campaigns with Facebook, YouTube, Display & Video 360, Sizmek and Amazon DSP
  • Advanced Tableau knowledge with manipulating large amounts of data and building dashboards
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Current knowledge on emerging digital industry trends
  • Experience with ad servers (Google’s Campaign Manager)
  • Knowledge of different types of buying, like prospecting and retargeting models
  • Presentation experience in front of clients
  • Experience with DR and Branding campaigns of $1M plus, and understanding of metrics used to evaluate these campaigns
  • Experience building media plans, such as display and paid social media
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
  • An understanding of major partner ad platform interfaces and knowledge of DSPs and DMPs
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Academy for Ads certifications desired
