International SEO Strategists work with Account teams, Content teams, and SEO Specialists to drive not only keyword ranking increases and qualified traffic, but important business outcomes for NP Digital’s global clients.

Reporting to Manager or Senior Manager, SEO, the International SEO Strategist will be responsible for determining and executing best in class international SEO strategies to drive key business outcomes for NP Digital’s global SEO clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Ownership and strategic direction over complex international SEO campaigns with no oversight needed.

· Ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including SEO audits to identify technical issues, keyword research and mapping, metadata development, on-page and website development revisions based on performance targets and client objectives.

· Coordination with NP Digital’s vendor partners and a roster of trusted international SEO experts across the globe to facilitate the completion of NPD deliverables in various languages.

· Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools.

· Assist account managers with client communications around organic search knowledge and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear international SEO strategic vision to each client.

· Assist SEO Managers in the mentorship and coaching of SEO Specialists.

· Collaborate with Content team and other subject matter experts as necessary to provide best in class multi-channel digital marketing services.

· Contribute to the development of departmental processes and best in class deliverables and templates.

· Contribute to SEO Department meetings with industry news, training & coaching opportunities, and sharing.

About You

· 1-4 years’ experience in the organic search industry, with a minimum of 2 years of personally managing international SEO strategy for global websites.

· Passionate about all things international SEO and multi-cultural strategy

· Comfortable with the technical aspects of international SEO such as hreflang implementation and auditing, geo-routing, etc.

· Experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Ahrefs, Google Data Studio, STAT, BrightEdge, Google Search Console, Agency Analytics, etc. to analyze organic search and analytics data to make specific data-driven recommendations.

· Full confidence and expert delivery in interfacing with clients and collaborating with other departments.

· Successful & strong storytelling with data via deliverables and monthly reports.

· Deals with risk and uncertainty with ease.

· Understands and prioritizes what’s important.

· Quickly sense what will help/hinder progress, eliminates roadblocks, and maintains focus on the big picture.

· Creates or contributes to an environment where each team member feels important and can receive credit for their role in success and achievement.

· Can successfully handle conflicts via direct communication, rarely needing to resort to escalation.

· Experience conducting successful SEO campaigns with large, enterprise, or Fortune 500 brands.

· Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced SEO projects.

· Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful SEO campaigns.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management.

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

· Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities.

· Comfortable presenting to clients and communicating directly with client teams, including stakeholders with varied levels of SEO or digital marketing knowledge.

· Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on SEO industry topics.

· Ability to educate and share industry knowledge with less experienced team members.

· Ability to remain agile and collaborative in a constantly evolving work environment.

Bonus Points

· Experience with managing international SEO campaigns for household name brands

· Fluency in one or more foreign languages

· Agency experience preferred.

· GAIQ preferred but not required.
