Our client is a full service digital agency that specializes in paid search, creative services, SMS, social media and display media. They offer competitive salary, ongoing training, excellent benefits and more. They are looking for a Social Media Buyer to join their team.

This person needs to be knowledgeable of the ins and outs of DSP and social platforms and experienced in using data to influence decisions. In this role, you will be the client contact for display and paid social efforts and responsible for enhancing the performance of their media campaigns.

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge in offerings and opportunities (ad units, targeting options/providers, inventory sources) for Google Ads, Amazon DSP, DV360, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram
  • Maintains client relationships while communicating the value of display and paid social efforts
  • Identifies and presents opportunities for growth to client display & paid social programs
  • Implementing and adhering to Quality control process of campaigns
  • Optimize campaign performance based on set key performance indicators
  • Leads weekly/bi-weekly client calls to discuss account performance, interpretation of data, and action plans
  • Reviews all Tableau reporting metrics to analyze and identify performance drivers
  • Manages budgeting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Works with partners to consult on status and performance of campaigns and maintain strong relationships
  • Fully executes multiple clients’ media plans, including trafficking, technical troubleshooting, optimization, and management
  • Develop client presentations and present to the client when needed
  • Creates and executes ongoing testing plans for ad copy, ad units, creative, landing pages, industry betas, etc.
  • Onboard new clients, including account creation, billing, pixeling, audience creation and QA

Desired Background and Skills:

  • 1.5+ years of client-facing display and paid social experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Hands on experience in campaign trafficking, development, execution, and optimization across one or more DSPs and/or Facebook Ads Manager
  • Academy for Ads certifications desired
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Experience with ad server technology, Campaign Manager a plus
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing campaigns to KPIs (ROAS and CPA, CPC, CTR)
  • Understanding of advanced targeting and remarketing tactics (dynamic creative, CRM, site retargeting, search retargeting, keyword contextual, lookalikes, etc)
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication; comfortable talking on the phone, emailing, and seeking answers to questions in a timely manner
  • A self-starter with strong multi-tasking ability and close attention to detail
  • Eye for creative and ad copy and desire to go above and beyond given tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure
